CHILDREN’S HEALTH & NUTRITION
Our children are the most valued treasure and gift from heaven.
As we are all aware, their little bodies are under attack every single moment by environmental toxins, and micro-organisms (parasites, funguses, toxins), each time we wash their clothes in chemical soaps, fabric softeners, dryclean their clothes, or wash their hair and skin with soaps full of cancer causing chemicals.
According to the report from the American Diabetic Association, over 60% of children in our country over consume simple carbohydrates (sod, candy, chocolate bars, white bread, pasta, diet soda, food coloring, and preservatives.)
According to the annual report from the USDA, a high usage rate of chemical pesticides and fertilizers in our soils has lowered nutritional value every year.
According to the EPA, industrial farming has polluted our waters with waste matters that cause disease.
Electronic toys disrupts a child’s field of energy. They start acting like they’re losing their mind. Too much sugar in the blood causes foggy and non-focused thinking, unhealthy skin and hair and skin conditions. They become out of control like little monkeys, climbing up and down trees.
Over consumption of antibiotics and steroids at early ages causes depression, as well as skin eruptions such as eczema , psoriasis, thrush, irritation of the digestive and rectal areas, ear and eye infections.
Sinus problems, sore throats, frequent cold and flu symptoms, and bladder infections are all signs of improper and poor nutrition.
What can we do to protect our sweet, innocent treasures who trust and depend on us to feed them to keep them healthy?
Step 1 Insure sufficient water intake daily. Instead of soda and fruit juices, stock fresh fruit and vegetable extract, carrot juice, apple juice or blend fresh apple and lemon juice with a drop of rose water, which works as a digestive tonic.
Step 2 Buy fun, frozen pops. Reward children with a fun game or educational movie instead of candy or ice cream. Freeze pureed fresh fruits such as strawberry and raspberry together. A ‘watermelon freeze’ is a favorite, delicious and easy to make.
Watermelon freeze recipe
Blend 2 cups of fresh seedless watermelon with juice of 2 fresh lemons in a blender.
Pour into popsicle trays. Freeze for 6 or more hours. Allow your children to have only one per day.
Drinks
Wholesome Hot Chocolate
Blend 1 cup of Orgaic Unsweetened Soy milk
1 tablespoon of carob powder (which is a fantastic replacement for chocolate without the harmful effects of chocolate. It is high in vitamins and minerals.)
Add 1 teaspoon of rosewater
Dash of ground cardamom powder.
Bring to a slow boil, then let cool down a little.
Serve in a nice colorful glass, garnished with fresh mint leaves
Garnishing your child’s food, makes it more visually appealing to the eye, helps to motivate them to enjoy the inviting aroma which helps aid their digestion.
Snacks or finger foods
Choose something they can grab quickly:
Clean up some celery stalks, cut to 2 to 3 inches long. Fill them up with almond and cashew butter. Then, add some currents or dried cranberries to make it more nutritious and attractive.
Sea vegetables for higher immune power
Sea vegetables are extremely important to the support of a child’s immune system, Instead of cream sauces or lots of margarine which is really hazardous to their health, use a teaspoon of flax oil and a sprinkle on ground sesame seeds with dulse flakes (sea vegetable). This will enhance the energy of their mind and increase their immune power.
Baked sweet potato recipe
Not too soft, cut them up, mix with Organic Coconut Oil, for children who are under weight. children that are overweight should only have flax oil on their meal (please do not heat oils, mix with food right before serving). cook foods without oils and add at the end.
Used in place of white rice. White rice creates excessive amount of mucus and hyperactivity and constipation. Brown rice is a great replacement. It contains lots of fiber, B vitamins, protein, and complex carbohydrates. There are other grains such as quinoa, millet, amaranth, and buckwheat (super grains). They will give support for higher immune power and healthier bodies.
In place of starchy vegetables, serve a cup of veggies with soaked almonds or walnuts.
Soaking your nuts:
Place your nuts in a steel or glass container, covered for 48 hours in drinking water. Please do not use water from the faucet because of high acidity content. This will make the body extremely acidic, causing a weaker immune system. Refrigerate and strain after 48 hours. You may rinse every six hours or so. You will notice the water is tinted, as this is the enzyme inhibitor, or coating, being released. This process of soaking brings life back to food, making is more digestible, avoiding gas and constipation. Let the nuts air dry then place back in the refrigerator. You can use them in a salad, carry them with you as a healthy snack or make your own nut milk.
It is very difficult to feed some children healthy foods if they were not fed proper foods from the beginning of their lives.
Pregnant mothers
Pregnant mothers have to be very attentive to their nutritional needs. If you consume a diet rich in healthy super foods, your child will eat them after they are born. You should continue nourishing yourself with a superior diet while lactating, as the child will naturally continue to benefit. Proper food implementation should continue as they grow.
They are certainly not to blame for improper eating habits if they are continuously observing their parents drinking sodas, coffee, eating fast foods, chips and saucy canned foods. You and I are their role models. They only copy their parents and what they observe on TV, or read and see in published advertisements.
Do as you say: Allow your children to see you eat properly from the first time they eat, to see how it works for all of us. Nutrition is the key to a healthy body, mind and spirit.
Take them for a walk every night before bedtime. Fresh air allows them to sleep better.
Do not have unhealthy snacks in the house. if you cannot see it, you will not be tempted.
CHILDREN’S HEALTH POWER is designed to support our children’s total health and boost their immune power by giving the best flora. Sea vegetables, such as dulse, kelp and spirulina, support their mind and muscle structure. All the veggies that they refuse to eat such as broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, celery, parsley, and acerola cherries are a great source of Vitamin C, without the acidic effect. There are tremendous amounts of Vitamin C in spirulina and other sea vegetables, to protect their immune power and their cells from oxidation. There are Vitamins A, E, B Complex, enzymes for the utilization and absorption of all the nutrients available in this formula, digestive herbs such as cumin, fennel, cardamom, oil of orange, which has been used in traditional Persian medicine for centuries, and chamomile to calm them down. As we know enzyme bromolane, which is extracted from pineapples, is an important anti-inflammatory and an excellent digestive tonic.
