Arctium Lappa
Arctium Lappa has been used in Persian, Japanese, Chinese and Native American medicine for centuries. The great scholar Avicinna, the Prince of Medicine, used this healing root for treatment of the stomach and skin cancer, as well as a variety of other ailments.
Arctium root contains many beneficial nutrients. The most important, is 70% FOS (Fructooligosaccharides), which is used to provide a healthy environment in the intestines to assure the growth of good bacteria and a healthy colon.
